Curious about the new Chicago Architecture Center? Join us for a project tour of the new home of the CAC, formerly the CAF (Chicago Architecture Foundation). On October 24th we have a private guided tour of the newly-built 20,000 square foot space.

This spectacular new facility pays tribute to Chicago’s visionary architects, and the continuing importance of architecture and design in Chicago and around the world. It features innovative exhibits exploring the work of the architects who shaped our city, including the newly enhanced Chicago Model Experience exhibit in the central gallery. The model, featuring over 4,000 buildings, is brought to life through a film and light show detailing Chicago’s early growth and rebirth after the Great Chicago Fire. The gallery highlights the city’s most notable architects, its diverse neighborhoods, its unique residential architecture and exciting current projects.

A guided tour will be led by the project lighting designers, Casey Diers and Avi Mor of Lightswitch.

Emerging Professionals are invited to stay afterwards for a deep-dive conversation and the opportunity to pose questions to the featured speakers.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres & beverages will be provided.
