Discover WELL V2 and how it impacts design and construction, focusing on the well-being of users and occupants. Since the program’s debut in 2014, WELL has been applied to projects in 32 countries encompassing over 145 million square feet. Yet, not all designers are familiar with this standard and how it can impact their projects. As the first standard focusing on human health and wellness, the newly released WELL V2 version promotes lighting solutions to adjust circadian rhythm, increased alertness and enhance visual acuity. This session will include an introduction to WELL V2 and an overview of the intents, requirements and verification methods of each feature. During the session presenters will discuss the challenges they have faced and provide guidelines for designers who are interested in WELL or working on a project pursuing WELL certification.

Guest Speakers:
Shahrzad Abtahi & Reiko Kagawa, Sladen Feinstein Integrated Lighting
